First of all there was no heavy lifting. .I grew up listening to KIMA Radio, the Top 40 Station at the time. I would tape the show and try to emulate what they did. I used to have my own DJ show in my bedroom . I would play and announce the songs as If I was I was on the Radio.. My parents thought I was crazy!

Most memorable was my interview with Jerry Lewis. the host fo the Muscular Dystrophy telethons every year. He happened to be in Yakima doing was MDA business. It was a lot of fun.
