Zillah Community Days Market May 8th & 9th
We are having our annual Zillah Community Days Market at Stewart Park in downtown Zillah, WA. This is co sponsored by Zillah Associated Clubs and No Rhyme Or Reason Country Market. we have a great Market of vendor from all over WA and Idaho. free admission. Our vendor roster filled fast with limited space. if you would like to be on the waiting list email norhymeorreasoncountrymarket@gmail.com. we are open Friday noon to 7 pm and Saturday 9 am yo 9 pm. “Steps Toward Success” Fun Run/Walk Saturday May 9th.
This event happens from 1 to 4pm at Zaepfel Stadium (40th and Tieton – next to Eisenhower High School). This event is a fundraiser to expand Safe Yakima Valley’s Positive Ticketing Program in Yakima Valley Schools. Positive Ticketing… REWARDS STUDENTS for Positive Behavior, Helping Others and Making Healthy Choices… kids use the positive tickets they earn for prizes. The funds raised at the Steps Toward Success Fun Run/Walk will help to expand the program in more schools. Bring your family and come out to reinforce to our kids… that SHOWING UP MATTERS and Support a more positive school experience where young people feel recognized and encouraged! Steps for Success Fun Run and Walk is $10 per adult – FREE for 18yrs and under… please register your whole family at Safe Yakima Valley and click on Events. Enjoy Music, Food Vendors and Community Booths.
3rd Annual Jazz and Dessert Night May 9th
Selah High School Band Parent Boosters present The 3rd Annual Jazz and Dessert Night… featuring swing dance lessons, delicious desserts and a fantastic Silent Auction while you dance the night away to the magical sounds of the Selah High School Jazz Band! Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the Door and $80 per table of 8! The 3rd Annual Selah High School Jazz Band is Saturday May 9th in the VPAC at the Selah Middle School. Doors open at 630pm for dance lessons and The Dessert, Dancing and Silent Auction start at 7pm. Come support Selah High Schools Talented Jazz Musicians!
Play for Purpose Cornhole Tournament May 9th
Calling all CornHole enthusiasts… come Play for Purpose Charity CornHole Tournament is Saturday May 9th beginning at Noon at Sozo Sports Complex. $35 per person with Cash Prize – $500 Advanced and $300 Intermediate. Team Bracket is $50 per team with Awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Play for Purpose – Charity CornHole Tournament benefits Youth Mental Health & Suicide Prevention… Proceeds will go to launching (Internal) Intrnl Fight’s New School Club Program. Sign up at intrnlfight.com (you say it internal fight dot com) Intrnl Fight is a non-profit organization was started by a group of local High Schoolers who lost a friend to suicide with no warning (Ben Kroner) Raising Awareness is the way they have chosen to honor him.

Selah Show & Shine
