Franklin Pool is open!
Franklin Pool will operate from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays. Yakima’s two other public pools, Lions Pool and Yakima Aquatic Center, are also open.
The cost for entry to Franklin Pool is $4 for kids aged four to 17, $5 for adults, $23 for a family of six, and $30 for a family of eight. Admission is also $4 for honored citizens, defined as anyone aged 62 or older, or is a Yakima Transit Honored Citizen card holder, State of Washington Handicapped Parking Placard holder, SSI Disabled, or active duty military.
Paws In The Pool @ Franklin Pool
A Man’s best friend takes over the Franklin Pool Sunday, August 23rd from 2pm-4pm. Dogs swim free, but their owners have to pay general admission fee. The pool will close for the season after this event.
Heritage University’s Kaleidoscope
Celebrating the vibrancy of the Heritage Community! Join Heritage University September 3rd from 4pm-7:30pm on The Great Lawn. Bring your family, blankets & lawn chairs, and join them for an evening of fun and camaraderie at this free festival, featuring: great food, games & prizes, H.U. gear, LIve music & karaoke, and more special surprises!
Ponies In The Sun Car Show
Join the Sun Country Mustang Club September 20th @ Sarge Hubbard Park. Show hours are 10am-4pm. $25 to register your car a tthe day of the show. There will be door prizes, 50/50 raffle and much more! You can also join the fun on Saturday September 19th with their Pony Trail starting at Sarg Hubbard Park at 9:30am, a Cruise-In at Major’s Drive In on Lincoln Ave starting at 5pm.
