Man Eats "World's Hottest Curry"

A 55-year-old radiologist who ate a curry dish called "The Widower" at Bindi -- an Indian restaurant in Grantham, England -- reportedly hallucinated in the middle of his meal. Ian Rothwell tried the dish which is made with 20 Naga Infinity chilies, which are so spicy that the chefs in the kitchen have to make the dish while wearing goggles and a face mask. The restaurant's executive chef said Rothwell finished the entire dish but hallucinated during a break when he took a 10 minute walk outside. The chef said Rothwell is the first of about 300 people who tried the dish and succeeded in finishing it. Rothwell told a website the next day, "I can confirm it was a little uncomfortable, but nothing terrible." (Daily Mail)
