Teacher of the Year Loses Job for Streaking

A man who taught in Vineland, New Jersey -- and was named Teacher of the Year in the 2011 to 2012 school-year -- was fired after he went streaking in a parking lot of a Camden County apartment complex. Mark Bringhurst was arrested for the act, and subsequently fired for his conduct which the School District deemed "unbecoming of a tenured teacher." One witness who saw Bringhurst's streak told police that this wasn't the former teacher's first streaking incident. Bringhurst told authorities he only did it because someone dared him -- and even admitted to streaking a year ago on a dare as well. (Huffington Post)
