I was born and raised in Yakima and attended Highland High School in Cowiche. I grew up on an apple ranch in Naches eights and figured out that there had to be an easier way to make a living.
I always loved radio and hoped that someday I could be behind the mic. That opportunity came in 1974 with my first radio gig at KIT. From there it was on to KMWX/KFFM where I spent several wonderful years. In 1996, I was hired as the News Director at KXDD Radio.
My love for the oldies eventually lead me to Cherry FM where I ‘m the co-host of the Morning Show with Richard James. After 33 years in radio broadcasting in the Yakima Valley, everyday is still fresh and exciting. Thanks for listening!
