It all started at a 5000 watt radio station in Longview, Washington! Well,
Dewey’s radio career that is. That was our first introduction to Country music. It took Dewey about 2 weeks to get hooked. 9 radio station’s and many years later, here we are.
After stops in Lincoln Nebraska, Houston and San Diego,
we headed back to Seattle where we worked at 2 country station’s before moving to Yakima and the Double D in 1996. Next to marrying Denise, it’s the best move Dewey ever made.
Besides working with great people at a great radio station (with a great audience), it’s been a great place to raise our 3 boys. Have you noticed yet how Dewey likes to refer to Dewey in the 3rd person? It’s a trick we learned from Garth Brooks. Dewey doesn’t know why we should do this, but it sure seemed to work for Garth..
We love our job and really enjoy working with Charlie (insert name of new co host here if she leaves) and Terry Allan!! Dewey is pretty much the same off the air as you hear on the Double D morning show, except he’s not an overbearing smart-alick who looks like Brad Pitt.
